I learned a lot while making this composition, and will likely make a little breakdown reel at some point. Particularly happy with the dust particles in the air and the ripple effects in the water. Setting up the jiggle physics in the throat and legs was also a lot of fun.
I assembled the beach environment shown here from assets available at Poly Haven. It's an amazing resource for Blender artists, and it's all public domain! The dead Triceratops cameo is the Smithsonian's scan of the current Hatcher mount.
